I will admit that I have been quite harsh on the previous ILIFE V series robots. Partially because they want to market a vacuum and mopping robot while removing the key components for vacuuming. However, I do like the company and I think they have great potential. This is proven with the ILIFE V7.

The landscape for robotic floor cleaners changes almost daily. Sometimes it can be hard to keep up or even make a decision. You decide one day you want a robotic cleaner and when you go to make the purchase, there are five new models to choose from.

When ILIFE began making the V series the idea of a combo vacuum and mop cleaner wasn’t a new thing. The design is a simple one: half vacuum, half mopping head. The problem with most designs is that to do two different things; you lose the ability to do one well.

For a company that has only been in the robotic vacuum business for barely four years, the improvements from year to year are incredible. ILIFE released the V series and every iteration has improved upon the last. The ILIFE V5 is no different.

ILIFE has been producing robotic vacuums since 2015 and in that short time has become a household name. The name has even brought up comparisons to Neato and iRobot. While the ILIFE robots won’t compete with the Roomba 980 or the Neato D7 Connected, it does compare well with entry and mid-level tiered models.

The ILIFE A series robotic cleaners have seen some improvements over the years and the A6 is no different. It has a lot of new or upgraded features that make it a viable option for someone looking for a robot vacuum under $500.
